Established in 2014 in a modest small garage, Created Bespoke Joinery & Furniture is an ACT based joinery company specialising in detailed high-end Joinery. For business owner Chris Catena, anything his client’s can think of is something his workshop would happily tackle. With a passion to create conversation pieces and love for working with environmentally sustainable materials, Chris’ team produces their high-quality unique projects on their trusted Altendorf Saw and Hebrock edgebander.
While Chris has been producing bespoke work with perfect cuts for almost 4 years on their WA8 Altendorf, they have just recently upgraded their edgebander to a Hebrock F4 PLC machine. These German made machines are focused on productivity with a comprehensive array of edgebanding units that focuses on bringing high end finishes to the market. What this means for Created Bespoke Joinery & Furniture, is that they’re able to in turn deliver a high level of quality that is consistent and at a favourable price point for their clients.
“We’re very happy with the Hebrock, time efficiency is the biggest improvement and the quality is second to none.” Claims Chris, “with the new machine, the edging process is much quicker and there’s minimal cleaning up on the benches.”
The above photo depicts a functional display cabinet commissioned by a local Barbershop. It is now the showpiece of their retail section. The finish and fixtures of this custom built piece are traditional but by no means standard, providing a perfect backdrop for an array of watches, wallets and accessories as well as counter space for their point-of-sale system. The heavy duty castors allow for easy relocation within the shop.
Now situated in a 300+ square meter workshop with a team of 5 cabinet makers, the real upgrade for Created Bespoke Joinery & Furniture is their ability to continue to deliver their level of quality to even more clients in the future to come.
